IWEP faculty members Dr. Mary Joy Abit, Asst. Prof. Jena Joy Apolinario, Dr. Jennifer Niem, and Asst. Prof. Jose Emmanuel De Luna are currently visiting Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Malaysia for benchmarking activities with the UPM Faculty of Agriculture (Department of Plant Protection and Department of Crop Science).
The group are conducting series of discussions with the faculty members and students of UPM, campus tours, as well as laboratory and field visits.
The learnings from this tour will be considered for UPLB and be cascaded to other HEIs offering crop protection courses in the Philippines.
