The Insect Ecology team headed by Dr. Celia Medina conducted two trainings in Guimaras and Cebu. Mango farmers and DA-personnels learned how to properly manage the mango cecid fly and other important pests of mango through a series of lectures and hands-on activities facilitated by the team. Dr. Celia is joined by Asst. Prof. Jena Joy Apolinario, Asst. Prof. Pee-Jay Rejuso, Mr. Rex Joseph Enabore, Mr. Bryan Novio, Ms. Rose Tonnette Bondad, and Ms Marie Joy Beltran.
The team also interviewed farmer attendees as part of their DA-BAR-funded project on the control of mango cecid fly. (RJDJ Enabore)
